Take a look at some color wheels
and notice some of the varieties which are mood words
more than they are actual colors (melodious peach, narrative cream).
Now imagine you are the one who has to name paint swatches, evoking food, seasons, or random unrelated words to pair with colors.Make up a persona for yourself. Is this your only job? Are you a failed visual artist or a successful one commissioned to name the colors? Do you also come up with greeting card poems? What other sorts of jobs have you held? What influences your naming of colors? Imagine if you had this job and you had Synesthesia? Blindness to certain colors?
Write a colorful poem with such a narrative.
